Actually, we already have partially socialized medicine.

Semantics. At any rate, he wants more centralized control, along the lines of JF.

He wants to redouble our efforts on the war on terror. Iraq has been a huge distraction and has recruited more terrorists.

Iraq IS the most important element of the War on Terror IMO.

The global scientific consensus is that it is real.

Nonsense; there is no such consensus. Every week some scientist somewhere figures out it is a scam. There is zero evidence to suggest it exists at all.

Congress has voted itself plenty of raises in the last couple of decades whereas they refuse to vote for minimum wage raises. What's wrong with that picture? You and I have a broken social security system, but Congress gets it's own social security system that is nice and fixed. What's wrong with that picture?

Well, whatever. The point is, he is an extremist liberal. All these are liberal points, and he is as liberal as you can get. YOu claimed he isn't, and simply put, you are are dead wrong.

Perhaps YOU are more liberal than you let on, and Obama just looks less liberal as a result? ;)
