I guess it boils down to there are always big power and money guys ready to play dirty when the little guys have something they want..(starts with kids in the sandbox)...that is capitalism at its base...rough, destructive, brutal....to win assets the game needs to be played that way. Now liberal thought and policies tends to temper the game to try and help the little guy. On the other hand communist dictatorships form co-ops of little guys in exchange for the freedom to act on their own. Collectively thelittle guys now have money and power and can go up against the bullies and play their game....no matter how you look at it, the game is still the same...intimidation, coersion, dirty tricks are tools to try and gain assets. Aurelian and Gabriel tried to play the game fair, but when the asset got too juicy, they waited to long to form an alliance with a big badass...Gretzky had Semenko...Crosby needs Roberts back Soros is throwing his money and power around...he feels for the betterment of himself and his posse. Correa the same, but he is politically motivated to stay in power and needs his people to see him looking out for them For the enviro/altruistic/guilty-cause-I'm-a-rich-celeb crowd, it feels good to think you are right and then be able to do something about it, forgetting that you are screwing over a lot of small people trying to play the game fair or just trying to survive...right Mr. Soros. Agree with what you are saying Eric, just trying to boil light maple syrup down into maple sugar.... its all good baby
