Citizenship is valid for the life of the individual, and no longer, notice how people don't say of the dead, 'he is a lower slobovian', they say 'he was', past tense ... you don't have the right to walk around or vote or anything after you're dead, though in some places others will vote in your name, you can't do it legally yourself ... this is why they need special permits to shoot those vampire movies ... so you'd have to do very careful due diligence on the longevity prospects of the citizenship vendor, and then still worry a lot, he could get hit by a bus, and poof, you're stateless, you're standing right there and people start using the past tense on you

Can't have it any other way, can't say it goes on and on as long as the current owner breathes, and tradeable as well - you'd have ninety year olds writing futures contracts on theirs to be sold to newborns with the time of sale stipulated as seconds before confirmed expiry ... you'd have priests as brokers, making deals on their perfectly good and useable GSM cellphones while administering the last rites, and then what if the cheque bounces later, who is going to pay the stamp tax on that transaction?

Azteca citizenship could be a heartless affair, at times ... something like playing gold stocks this month ... but like mangos, these things have their ebb and flow, sometimes the tree bears heavy, sometimes you have to wait a bit, always there is cool shade underneath
