I don't think we should be quick to judge someone to be a racist and a hate monger, which Wright has been accused of being. Wasn't suggesting that anything that strong. My early negative comments were that he was pretty radical. You, as I recall, argued that it's OK to expose kids to stuff like that from the pulpit. <g> I commented early that his brand of liberation theology should be retired, that in the 21th century it is more a negative than helpful. I also fussed about his ongoing outrage. Don't recall any "amens." Just noting that then the thread was generally playing the apologist role. Not so now.
