What pushed Obama over the edge seems to have been the insult to him personally, not the outrageousness of Wright's views: Exactly. Wright isn't the only one of them with a big ego and think skin.

Oh come on! Obama had 2 reactions to Rev. "Whitey Hating-Conspiracy Mongering" Wright. The first public reactionwas some 7 hours after Wrights speech. Obama continued to say more of the same - zero outrage - zero denunciations. And don't try to claim that Obama & his handlers weren't 100% clued in to everything Wright had to say.... as if they were trapped in a cocoon, completely out of touch with the MSM which covered Wright, then did nothing but talk about it ALL DAY LONG! It wasn't until the the next day after fresh polling results came out showing that Wright was killing Obama.... then we got the faux outrage press conference from Obama.
