[OT] It's been a wild day. I have never had the experience of calling 911, however ... today .. I decided to lite a fire to burn the last of the wood and then a creosote log tonite and created a chimney fire. Trust me .. you never want a chimney fire. It sounds like a major Tornado or a Blast Furnace. And the Bursting of Chimney Tiles or Bricks is not a pleasant sound. We'll know what all bursted after inspection. We had 4 fire trucks here and who knows how many firemen ... 20 or 30. When they put the Axes on the top of the roof I had a new outlook on life and Major Respect for those who do their Dangerous Jobs. All is perfectly fine now .. no damage done .. just some blown up tiles and/or bricks .. but this is not an event that I will soon forget. Thoughts today are on a better escape plan. Whew ...
