The country didn't change so much as the world around us changed. You liberals would like to ignore the problem, but the reality is that we have an enemy today that poses a threat just as the Cold War did. And we have liberals who deny the existence of the threat just as we did during the Cold War. The US is the safest it's been (from attack) since I was very young. However we are more economically vulnerable than we have ever been. Our enemies control the lifeblood of our economy and could bring us down in two months.

You know just enough to be a danger to yourself and to others. While I worried about people like you back in 2003, I find you more amusing now as I watch people like you go out of favor. In 20 years or so, most of you should be gone and that will be the end of it.
