>>> I have no clue how Iraq could have been a threat to us

Translate it any way you like.

The reality is that Iraq WAS a threat to us in many, many ways, and democratization of Iraq will be a huge benefit for us.

You could never, ever, in a million years, understand this because your liberal dogma will not allow it. No sense in trying.

Translation: "I have no clue how Iraq could have been a threat to us but since Master Bush said it was then I'll just scoff".

The threat was some rusty old observation balloon fuel trucks it seems..."we have found the weapons of mass destruction" proclaimed busH from Poland...if it wasn't tragic it would be comical.

John,

Iraq was not a direct threat, but it was a potential threat. Its friendliness with terrorist was a concern. The direct payment to terrorists as a compensation for terror acts was a concern.

These concerns were magnified 100-fold after 9/11.

Still, I was not for Iraq war, but I certainly understood those who were for it.
