I've explained it time and again. If you haven't gotten it by now, you won't. I can assure you I fully understand the economics of health care. Obviously, you don't.

Nobody has said you can't cut costs. But when you shift services to government payers, you stifle innovation. We have seen it, time and again, with Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and other government payers. One must fully comprehend the relationships amongst these payers and the providers and it is clear that you and JF do not.

mindmeld,

Sure, I can. In business, we negotiate the best deal all the time. It's what makes the market dynamic. Those who are suppliers of a good try negotiate a high price and those that are consumers of a good or service try to negotiate a low price. That is what makes a market.

Not exactly. I picked the plan for our company, and none of the employees had any say in what plan would fit them the best.

Market would be if every person could pick their own plan.
