No, you are making ad hominem attacks against Krugman when you make a blanket statement about all his writings while obviously being unfamiliar with most of his writings.

If you disagree with one of his opinions or a specific passage in one of his writings, that is not an ad hominem attack. That would be appropriate and would show that you don't hold others to higher standards than you hold yourself.
