Maybe not all commodities will act the same way - maybe they'll break up, like... rails and airlines did. Fwiw, a stock like PCU looks set up to go down in a (potential) Wave C counting from last Oct high -- while energies for the most part have been doing well.

As of several days ago the sentiment about energies was - indeed - excessively optimistic. We'll see how it will act in the near future, as the sector pulls back.
