one more try. There was a good chance that saddam was going to get himself out of sanctions. Folks were already trading with him in clandestine fashion. No, he didnt have WMDS. Yes he would have tried to get them again, once out of the box. I am not saying this was a reason to go to war or that an end to sanctions was imminent but the process had definitely begun.
