Now with a little help from a government that actually believes that these are real and serious problems, we could see an acceleration. In other words, it's up to government to "coerce" people into doing these things? That's not very "poll-driven." That's government deciding what's best for society and telling them, "If you don't like it, tough. We're a fucking society and we're all in this together." By the way, the point isn't to denounce these efforts (sometimes I wish government displayed such backbone on certain issues). Instead, it's to show just how foolish it is to consider positions to be "centrist" simply based on the changing winds of public opinion. Tenchusatsu
