The dates weren't random, they were dates things happened. You were talking about Turkey and Turkey didn't turn Muslim peacefully long long ago. The Christians were ethnically cleansed away. That is a simple historical fact.

Iraq and Palestine became British mandated territories. " So the creation of israel bothers you but not the creation of a christian state in lebanon, cut off from syria. Syria is equivalent to palestine and israel to lebanon for the most part. And lets not forget the UN vote in 47. Bet you didnt even realize you posted this.

It's funny to see all these Neocons trashing the Burmese junta for blocking international aid to its people. While they are 100% correct in their condemnation, their motivations are plainly malignant. They stand silent whenever Israel does the exact same thing to its people. Their commentary is reminiscent of Soviet complaints about the poor treatment of minorities in America during the Cold War. Correct, yes. But also hypocritical, self-serving, and globally destructive without proper balance. Let's leave the foreign aid to the UN and other non-partisan institutions. There is no reason to include Neocons like France's Sarkozy and Kouchner in the discussion. France participated in the American overthrow of Haiti's democracy a few years ago.
