It's one country. And it's had riots over pollution. I'm not sure you can hold it up as the standard you want the rest of the world to follow- unless you want things to get amazingly bad before they get better.

Are you suggesting that's a Good Thing?

I think if we can get countries to start going green before they get as bad as China, that would be better. Treaties would be a nice part of that.
