Lane3;

I'm sure you realize that you can't optimize both of them concurrently. Something's gotta give.

You're easy, of course you can. Compared to the alternative, the supply of energy goes up every time you move one BTU of energy production from oil (a finite resourse) to a renewable energy resource. Or better yet, through conservation - better windows or insulation - you not only save energy, but you increase the overall health of the environment.

This is where the neocons just leave me shaking my head. It is a win win every time we wisely switch to a renewable and away from a polluting carbon energy. Children's health and peace in the world - what an awful result huh?

steve.

Karen -

You don't think it's possible to have a reliable, plentiful supply of energy and a healthy environment, too?

I think it is.
