I'm still waiting for you to define the difference between "following the will of the majority" and "pandering for votes."

Pandering for votes is what mcsame and clinton did last week, by proposing a feel good tax abatement on gasoline, which would end up saving the average american less then $100, it would deepen our debt, but would have no other tangible policy consequence.

When, on the other hand, in the best judgment of a politician the logical and wise path forward coincides with the will of the majority, then it is not pandering....like removing ourselves militarily from the Iraqi quagmire for example.

As for the Dems, maybe you can tell me why they aren't cutting off funding for the troops. If there is any other reason than "they're too afraid of what the voters might think," I'd sure like to know.

You focus your attention far more on the idiots who are unwilling to get us out of this mess, than on the ONES who GOT US INTO IT. Now tell me why that is?

Al

With you money talks and bullshit walks. You ask damn good, penetrating questions of people and without rancor. You are a principled guy and a truth seeker. More folks on both left and right should follow your lead. It has little do with ideology and much to do with character.
