I like Bob Herbert, although he isn't exactly a barnstormer of a columnist (which is probably why I like him). My post wasn't a defense of Obama. Everyone makes his own decision on what his actions mean to them. What I am saying is that the RW is enjoying the Wright fiasco a great deal, and keeping the issue very much alive- certainly it is here-, but they wouldn't have voted for him anyway, and so the continuing dissection must have some other purpose. Unless it's just political schadenfreude. I am not sure Hillary will be easier to beat for McCain.
