"House losses stoke GOP tensions"

Wonderful! Let the finger-pointing begin! We all know that the (R) brand is suffering because it's had Bush's face on it for eight years and is composed of crooks and pervs. Something the congressional (R)'s could have corrected by not voting like a bunch of rubber-stamp lackeys, but lacked the courage to do.

I heard on "Hardball" that only 37 of over 200 (R) congresspeople have contributed to McSame's campaign. Tough to just flush money.

"Illinois was really bad, Louisiana was worse, if that's possible, but if we don't win in Mississippi, I think you are going to see a lot of people running around here looking for windows to jump out of," said a Republican leadership aide.

I doubt they will lose MS but if they do, then regional party status for the GOP is pretty much guaranteed.
