I'm actually caught in the same quandry for different reasons. I can't support a candidate that buys into the Global Warming junk and doesn't support drilling in ANWR for oil.

I suppose it will take 400 dollars a barrel for more Americans to wake up and stop the environmental lobbyists from ruining our economy and way of life.

I'm very concerned about this issue! We're at a defining moment on energy production. Either we're going to accept the notion that oil, coal and nuclear plants need to be supported, or we are going to descend as the most prosperous nation.

The word conservative no longer has any meaning. In fact all political labels have been corrupted. That's too bad. It's not a bad thing to have a short hand nomenclature to facilitate the nation's political discussion. But for what ever reason we no longer have one. Everyone is left to build their own political mental model of public figures and that takes time.

Sharing that model with others is like treading through a mine field. Like I have to tell YOU that.
