Any retailer can tell you that, for the same volume, the more expensive the crap you sell, the more you make. The markup is always the same. XOM will keep making record profits.

You don't think they actually make less to make it easier on consumers, do you?

My biggest beef it sending all the money offshore and then letting that money buy us up.

That one is certainly near the top... the wealth transfer.

I mentioned XOM profits because that seems to be a political war call these days. They will make profits but it's not easy money going forward either.

Well let's not cry for them, $10Billion a quarter is not exactly poverty.
