I just can't imagine how they must be feeling. They have planned for this for years, and have worked very, very hard. Being defeated so narrowly after all that would be awful.

I'm still wondering if it was mistakes or just getting beaten in a horse race by a strong young contender. The nomination was lost between Super Tuesday and Ohio/Texas, when Obama was in his groove and maximizing the themes and image where he is strongest. Hillary seemed helpless to stop him until she hit some states with the right lunch bucket demographics.

Could also be that the country really is ready to end the Bush-Clinton-Bush dual dynasty before it goes any further.
