Oil has passed $120/barrel and is going higher...what was the price when Dubya took office in 2000...?? Nothing like an oil man with no vision and no comprehensive energy policy as President...It's been a boom time for the big oil companies and for the OPEC countries. We gotta have a president who is serious about reducing our dependence on foreign oil...How often have you heard Mr. Bush talk about conservation...?? How much money has the Bush administration actually invested in Alternative Energy technologies...??

So why didn't they do that? Maybe the Republicans would have pulled out some benefit from this Iraq debacle had they actually used that oil to pay for some of this mess. It's stupidity that they didn't. Hell, they even promised us they would before we went in to Iraq.
