Chris, you couldn't be more wrong. I've probably seen and been enthralled by more bioluminescence in person than you've seen the sun rise.

One doesn't relate to another. Feeling and thinking can coexist together. The problem with Global Warming worshippers of Al Gore is they refuse to think and only feel. I feeeel Al Gore is right despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, because, it makes me feel better about myself that I care more about the environment than those ugly people who must be polluters.

Those kind of shallow ideas work pretty well in sound-bites on television, but rarely work in the more demanding environment of written critical thinking.

Good luck with the approach though. It works pretty well in the seventh grade government classrooms of America where the religion is being preached daily.
