Liberals talk a lot about "introspection" until their own views are challenged. That's when their true arrogance shows.

Just pointing that out to you that you characterize us as a superpower and that's the only reason terrorists (and the rest of the world) hate us...that's a puerile oversimplification. NK is not the ME...another point I thought I'd mention. Policies in a region of the world don't necessarily work in another...I know you'll relate to this idea now, since you have occasionally mentioned that we managed to rebuild Germany and Japan as democracies, as examples of why we can do the same in Iraq. I think it is fair to say that when we take the side of "good", things have a better chance of working out. When we prop up repressive Shah's or help ruthless dictators build their arsenals of chemical weapons, or arm them like we do in Pakistan, we violate the principles we like so much to lecture the world about and then shit happens.

Why is all this world animosity upon us intensifying over the last 6-7 years? Could be that the arrogance you mention is embodied in our cow boy foreign policies?

Al

"You mean like we did in South Korea?"

Did the S. Koreans violently resist us?
