Bush already said that, when he said he'll be judged by history or by his higher father.

The only way History will conclude 50 or 100 or 500 years from now that Bush43 was right about Iraq is if things go downhill from here and it is obvious that the right decision was we needed 130,000 troops (not 200,000 or 400,000) in Iraq, and not that we should not have authorized the war, or that after being authorized it should not have been launched and waged.

Even then, people will say, "Bush43 might have been right." That's the best history will conclude.

If withdrawal goes well, more or less as envisioned by Obama, there is zero chance of Bush being looked upon favorably for the fiasco in Iraq and to our currency, economy, and reputation around the world that have resulted from his decisions.

That's the advantage of the parliamentary system - a vote of non-confidence can be held at any time resulting in a new election.
