sweet my ass, they are going to get their ass kicked, assuming army fights at all. There are two legit fighting forces in the middle east today--IDF and Hizbo. Christians are split in lebanon and i were them i wouldnt buck hizbo.

So, what should they do? Nothing?

Ironically the last chance the world had to stop this situation from arising was two years ago and the world decided to chastise israel for excessive use of force rather than see the impending danger.

I'm not sure what good you think it might have done to "chastise" Israel. One man's "excessive force" is another man's "self defense". Israel was well within its rights to do what it did.

I don't understand the concept that when you are attacked or in some other way an act of war is committed against you, as it was Israel, you should restrain yourself. It seems to me you cream the enemy into submission.

Oh well.

I think your perspective is too colored by Israel. Until that issue is resolved to the satisfaction of both sides it will continue.....for a template look no further than N. Ireland. And as for your recommendation of wholesale violence, we've seen the little benefit the world has gained from the hugely destructive bombing of Lebanon. When will you militant types ever learn?

As to burma, zimbawe, darfu--- lets remember the world sits idly by while tens of thousands die unnecessarily. Only afterwards will the left ruminate about how we should have intervened. I am not calling for intervention for example in burma where we case a 500k strong army. I am just waiting for the liberals to start attacking bush for standing by while burma died. Damned if you do and damned if you dont.

Huh? Whose complaining? Besides what business is it of ours what the Burmese do with their country as horrific as their leadership is?

Michael, have you seen how the Myanmar junta is plastering their names on the boxes of aid before they give it to their citizens?

Remember, we're not allowed to do anything. Myanmar has no oil and no terrorists, and we can't be Globocop. We're just supposed to sit idly by and watch people die.
