Mme - I think you got that one right on. What amazes me is that my democrat wife goes absolutely nuts when she sees Hillary! I doubt she - or many others - could site a policy difference between the two - but she is really repulsed by Hillary.

My wife and I go back and forth on this one. She's convinced the Clintons, both of them, have used the race issue since at least NH, as Andrew Sullivan is. I can still take each instance and see it as campaigning rather than playing the race card. But both of us go back and forth on it.

Long history with the Clintons so it's hard to pull away. But I must admit that it's getting easier.

And I must admit to not understanding the endgame right now. Not even close. I can't see a scenario that makes any kind of sense. Just watched McAuliff on Meet the Press. He took a very bad case and spun gold out of it but it was still not convincing.
