<<< I generally come down with the argument which says they are not even close to being racist, that they know precisely what they are doing with the race based comments including the more negative consequences, and that it's all done for some personal end that I cannot discern. It is much healthier to have this discussion now rather than later. Race is an issue. It is not going away.

We have to trust the elites in our society to fully discuss this issue in a fair and honest manner. It's a risk we have to take.

The elite community has really been disgraceful in their treatment of Hillary Clinton. They have thoroughly demonised her. Like anyone else, she may have some shortcoming, but racism is a real stretch of the imagination.

Tell me that Andrew Sullivan does not suffer from extreme Hillary hatred. And, you are so willing to link to his opinions on Hillary.

Nevertheless, we have no alternative. We have to trust the elite community to be fair and honest.

John,

I agree with the first part of your statement here, the rest I have my doubts about.
