Nonsense. Bush 41 was operating pursuant to a specific UN mandate, and this is precisely what we were discussing before. There is no way in hell Bush 41 could have moved forward to unseat Saddam; the Left would have driven him from office (and the Right, too, I suspect). The mistake, of course, was operating under a UN mandate to begin with, effectively limiting our own options.

If we're going to have a UN, we cannot be cow-towing to them when it is necessary to protect our vital interests.
