Having seen what drug addiction can do to people, I would certainly not disparage a person who has dealt with it and been able to crawl out of it. But that's the difference between a conservative, who believes in lifting people up, and a liberal, who believes in bashing and personal destruction of one's foes.

You expect me to be empathetic about a man who called a child a "dog" as he did in the case of Chelsea Clinton, who refers to foes in the most unflattering terms imaginable, who spends hours daily bashing liberals on the radio terms and who shows no empathy himself about drug users until his own case comes to light...get real.

You guys wrote the book on personal destruction...
