My cynicism is based in economic and political reality. It's fine and well for Mr. Liu to build a plant in America. It's profitable for him to do so. And the reason it is- is because that $12 per hour wage in Spartanburg- is about 1/3rd of what Ford, GM and Chrysler are paying.

That $12 an hour wage also only buys what about $6 an hour bought in the 1980's. Inflation has destroyed American incomes from the bottom up. The middle class is now finally, feeling the pinch and slowly the upper middle class will as well.

US Market returns have not outperformed foreign markets since 2000. And that will not change in my lifetime- other than an occassional blip.

Here, let me paint a simple picture-

America is GM and Ford.

A fat, bloated, high legacy cost laden producing nation.

And we are trying to compete with emerging economies which are the Toyota and Honda's of the world.

We can't compete on costs any longer. The only way to compete- is to gut the core of Americas working middle class. And that is what is happening to their incomes.

Our socioeconomic problems with entire demographic groups of Americans forever locked uon the treadmill of self-destruction, illiteracy, social degredation, and relying upon pandering politicans and public entitlements- have become an anchor that will only drag down this country. Letting tens of millions of illegal immigrants continue to pour into this country only reinfoces the global wage arbitrage and only enriches corporate America.

It's all about wages and income.

America is in a PERMANENT downward spiral.

The ROW (rest of world) is in a generational rise.

America has went from a creditor to a debtor nation and nothing will change that- it can't. There are no $60k a year blue collar jobs EVER going to resurge in America. And that $60K today- is only equal in purchasing power to $30k in the 1980s. We are not producing an educated populace capable of filling high tech white collar jobs- and we have an exploding population that for the last 20 years- has dropped out of the educational and socio-economic system.

We have thrown an insourmountable amount of money at education. We could double it every year for a generation and it will not work. It's broken- because society is broken. Our culture has decayed- and the most decadent portion of our society is growing most rapidly- and is an econmic, and social drain on this country- that can never be turned around.

We will have a rapidly growing permanent under-class in this country that will politically bankrupt the country. Its only a matter of time. Actually, we are already bankrupt. That's why Wall Street and Politicans are so brazen- they know the end is near. They're getting while the 'getting's good'.

The sad thing- is that all those intelluctual elitists are about to get political payback from those desiring public housing, public healthcare, public jobs etc. Watch what is going to happen to taxes. The middle-middle, and the upper-middle class is being systematically destroyed by inflation, and the final nail will come from escalating taxes. Well beyond what anyone is imagining. Did you read what David Walker the comptroller general said- about how taxes must be raised just to pay the baby boomers their social security and medicare? Throw in a couple of military industrial defense complex- oil cabal wars- and it only accelerates the inevitable.

The elite don't care- they have thier offshore tax havens and shelters. It's the upper middle class that will pay. They will be hammered down by inflation, taxes, and ever rising public entitlements to where in 20 years they will no longer exist.

There will be 3 socioeconomic classes left in America.

1.The wealthy ruling elite.

2. The struggling debt laden working middle class- (From Nordstroms to WalMart in one generation).

3.The multi-generational, uneducated, illiterate, perpetual public entitlement underclass. They will continue to drain our economy and fill our prisons. The trends and the statistics do not lie. You can place blame anywhere you want- but, that will not change the explosive growth in unwed mothers, in children that are illiterate and permanently unemployable, in the now multi-generational mindset of perpetual government entitlements from the cradle to the grave.

Look at how in some individual states, these people are bankrupting the healthcare systems, the school systems, and the prison system. It is NOT going to change- it is only going to escalate! Talk to anyone in the prison, or corrections system- it's an almost unthinkable problem. Nancy Regan said 'just say no' nearly 30 years ago. Are drugs any less prevalent today- than then?

Did Barack Obama clean up the South Side of Chicago?
Any more jobs?
Any better graduation rates?
Better test scores?
Better literacy rates?
Better out of wedlock birth rates?
Better crime rates?
Better homicide rates?

You can spend an eternity debating who is to blame, or why- but that will NOT stop the spiraling costs of all of the above NOT getting any better- and NEVER getting any better.

We have an exploding underclass that is now multi-generational in America. Add tens of millions of illegal immigrants with the accompanying wage arbitrage and drain on the entitlement system- and Americas future is already written.

Sure, small business owners, and professionals like doctors, and lawyers will continue to do well- but, with where taxes will need to go to support America's debt, and entitlements- only the very best, of the best- will ever live as we have over the last 20 years. Doctors and Lawyers in 20 years will only have a living standard like auto workers did in the 1980s.

The political and social environment in this country has convinced me that we have just witnessed the 'blow off top' of
the American empire.

It's not cynicism- it's reality, and its inevitable. All empires are in the end- 'doomed by their own dna.' Not one has survived the reality of that 'Sliderism', or of history itself. And America will be no exception.

We just witnessed 8 years of greedy whore pillaging and plundering America- and no one cared enough, or paid enough attention to stop it. And given the political slate 'we the people' have just nominated- it's now too late.
