Obama won't build any more coal or nuclear power plants and he won't drill for oil either.

IMO, the three Presidential candidates are so bad that we should shift our focus to the Senate and Congressional races to prevent any of them from implementing their agendas, particularly in the area of global warming.

It isn't right that oil companies are making record profits at a time when ordinary Americans are going into debt just to fill up their tanks. That's why we'll put a windfall profits tax on oil companies and use it to help Oregon families reduce energy costs.

Pretty much all one needs to hear from this fool to know he will compound our energy problems greatly. No plan for increased supply and try and tax the oil companies out of business. What an economic illiterate jackass. Sadly he isn't alone.

And as president, I'll work to solve this energy crisis once and for all. We'll invest $150 billion over the next 10 years in establishing a green energy sector that will create up to 5 million new jobs — and those are jobs that pay well and can't be outsourced. We'll invest in clean energies like solar, wind and biodiesel

What absolute BS! Enough to gag a maggot!

Classic broken window fallacy.

Sure the $150bil will create new jobs. He probably massively exaggerates the number, but lets give him the benefit of the doubt and say 5 million new jobs are created. That means that the labor of 5 million people will be put in to his initiatives rather than to creating other things that people might want or need. At the same time all that money being taken out of the economy will mean other people lose their jobs, or suffer other economic harm, do to the cost being imposed on businesses, and individuals.
