I am disappointed Newt didn't step into the presidential race. He's already been hauled over the coals for his "sins", so that would all be old news. At the same time, I really think if Romney wasn't a Mormon, he'd have taken it far and away. Makes me wonder how this bigoted nation ever went for a Roman Catholic.

Gingrich is the only person qualified for the VP spot. I can't agree with that but for sure he'd be a good one. You're right about the baggage though, he was demonized all out of proportion when he was Speaker of the House. One thing you can say of Gingrich....he's a real leader. During his tenure as Speaker the Republicans at least had a plan...... Now it seems they've little of anything.
