The only thing mitigating the JDLR factor in this case is that the connections between Ayers and Obama aren't very strong.

Of course Obama has quite a few other connections with people with a certain JDLR factor, that are far closer than his connection with Ayers, so you get an overall pattern of negative associations.

But the real issue for me is his policies and proposals.
