Hi Rcksinc,

I think you've nailed it.

Many stocks have a lot of short interest in them.

If you go back to January/february,the short interest has declined as price has only gone up marginally.

Price action has been slightly up with a very gradual slope.

During the same time period ,short interest has gone down in many techs( at least those that I watch).

This has made many shorts uncomfortable - a feeling of being trapped.

You know - you buy the stock - hold during a dip and then break even then hold during the next drop and you never quite get back to what you paid for it.

Sort of like boiling the frog - they just never jump out.

Now we're on some very significant resistance 200 ma on many and on some we're seeing many golden crossovers occurring ( 50 crossing over 200).

We are at a point where the rotation and advance could be explosive - poster child for this may well be Intc.

Rare for this dog to be up over a buck.

Things they are a changing.

JMHO
