Then the Russians went in and got their asses kicked. Now the Americans are there and not too happy with the results, frustrated and getting nowhere. The Middle East: The Brits and the French screwed the Arabs and Muslims for a very long time in their homelands. Now the Americans are over there occupying and killing, and threatening some of the other Arabs and Muslim countries while directly controlling others. You are wondering why they are radical? Maybe you are, maybe you are not, but if you corner people, choose and support their leaders for them, invade them, torture them, kill their women and children and make sure they have no armed forces with which to fight back then they will get radical on you. They have no other choice. Oh and let's not forget trying to steal the oil if you can't control the leaders who govern the lands above the oil. You see much invading of white countries done by the Arabs and Muslims lately? You have 60+ million evangelicals in America believing in and hoping for armageddon and the rapture. They see the US military as a means to that end. How radical do you think they would be if they lived in poverty with Arabs and Muslims on their borders and/or occupying their lands, killing their women and children, destroying their churches and if they had no military with which to defend themselves or to attack their religious enemies? It's easy to pretend to take the high road and denounce radicalism when you are grossly fat on Big Macs and Freedom Fries, living in mansions, driving Hummers, watching "This Week at War on CNN" on your gigantic flat screen TV and worshipping lapel pin wearing con artists in Washington. I don't side with radical Islam, in fact they make me sick, as do all fundamentalist believers, but nor do i side with those who have poked them in the eye for decades and centuries and continue to do so, as that just radicalizes more of them. Neither side is rational or sane imo, but a thin slice of one side is getting stinking rich at the expense of American taxpayers as this all continues, AND they are enriching the leaders of Arab/Muslim countries who help them along the way. Here's an idea, pick a barren area like the Sahara and send the war mongering politicians, the pro war voters, armageddon seeking evangelicals, radical muslims and their leaders out there to fight it out in hand to hand combat and lets get all this bullshit behind us. support the troops and bring them home to watch it all on TV. just leave the rest of us the hell out of it. Far more damage has been done to America by compromised politicians who: looked the other way while greedy bankers built the subprime pyramid, enabled and encouraged fat cat CEO's to outsource your jobs to a communist enemy which in turn destroyed your manufacturing sector and ability to produce much of anything save food crops, gave hundreds of billions (off the balance sheet ala Enron and huge chunks of it in no bid contracts) of your tax dollars to the military industrial complex to invade a country that never posed a threat to you, opened your borders to cheap SA labor which in turn created a whole new class of poor US citizens by lowering wages to below the poverty level and the list goes on... yep radical Islam is your problem. try looking a little closer to home and follow the money. the rest of the world is watching in sheer amazement.
