"don't care much for the PBG story, too expensive for the risk."

Care to elaborate on the risks you perceive? TIA

By any measure CLL is at least 100% undervalued UTS has a market cap of $2.5 to $3 billion at times and are years away from production

Dear Creek was 5 yrs away from its first 10,000 brls when it was bought for $1.67 billion it is still about 3 yrs away from production.

Western Oil was bought for $7 billion for 35,000 brlspd production.

Black Rock was bought for $2.5 billion with no production.

All of this was in about $40 spot oil.

Conclusion: even if CLL was reading at $10 it would still be undervalued in relation to all other deals.

Now take into account we are in $125 oil CLL is now producing around 14,000 brl pd.CCL has 3000 PDP brlspd, and the Algar Green light for 10,000 more and I see a company with a $5 billion price tag if oil stays in the long term range (per Henry Groppe) of $95 per brl.

CLL if it is not taken over will one day carry a market cap above PBG is my prediction.
PBG is very unlikely to produce a 500% gain in the near term over its $5 billion market cap. But it is likely CLL will be the biggest "producer" returns in the entire oil sands in the next 18 months. In spite of its depressed stock price, the stars are in line for CLL,and I continue to buy asa much as I can
