Tony Blair said "there is a mismatch in timing between the environmental impact and the electoral impact." So demographics may be the eventual solution. Tony Blair also thought invading Iraq was great idea. Being politician makes him of superior intellect I suppose ... sigh.. So is he wrong 50% of the time ? or always ... Also how can you ignore the scientific data which state that the earth was much warmer than it is today and yet supported abundant and varied animal and plant life.. in light of the fear mongering in your post re: 6 degrees and we are all dead... Of course what we do has an effect ...but does it really amount to a hill of beans ? We are so special we needed a God...as we outgrow that idea.. now We are so powerful we are singlehandedly changing the climate... no hubris there... but someone is gonna make a lot of money...
