During the oil crisis of the 1970's, Americans were "voluntarily" very conscious of how they consumed and used fuel and heat. People consolidated errands rather than dashing out for a few items----bought fuel saving foreign cars that were full efficient---added extra insulation to attics. One of the hotels in D.C. that was home to the elderly did not turn their heat on for a month beyond the date they usually did. The elderly were freezing------and this is true. Wonder what kind of cars the Obama's drive. Of course he obviously is not driving himself anymore----limousines and airplanes. He's now vying with Hillary whom some people call a limousine liberal.
