I must admit, I'm confused by all the different definitions of "cost". Some are obvious like average cost, marginal cost. But others aren't so clear to me. Variable cost, average variable cost, average total cost, cost of sales, short term marginal cost, marginal short term cost, production cost, antitrust marginal cost variable, fixed and sunk capitol costs, long run costs, incremental costs etc etc. All have been used here.

I'm getting a headache.
