The Presidential election this November will be crucial. If Mr. McSame wins, the fall of the Republic will become a distinct possibility. Expect some election fraud, maybe even widespread election fraud, IMHO, although if there is none, I'll be pleasantly surprised. The tendencies toward fascism are clear, so a switch to a totalitarian regime is just one Government Coup away. There will be no "revolution". You just wake up one morning and hear we have a "president for life" I hope I'm very wrong, and the US political system is very robust to such an event.
