It would depend on just how publicly the promise was made. I agree if it were publicly announced, it would be among the all time great hot button issues.

What a horrible idea.
She is incredibly partisan, has no bench experience, and actually very little legal experience, and is hardly a ConLaw expert. It might make liberal hearts beat faster, but if I thought that deal had been made, I would vote conservative.
