Clinton's foolish negotiation with NK is a case-in-point of why you don't do this kind of stuff. Until these idiots make significant, verifiable concessions, you don't even talk to them. Otherwise, you end up with a weak deal in which they get what they want and we get nothing in return. Clinton & Albright in NK were total amateur hour. And Obama's willingness to have direct talks with Iran with no preconditions is precisely the same thing. Stupid.
