I did say perhaps (g). Ok we agree. How about knowledgable folks here come up with a plan that will have lets say 75% national agreement. It seems that narrow interests prevail over the common good when it comes to energy. Everyone needs to pay a price so we should have alternate energy but also have to do some things in the short term to help us thru this major dislocation. A new refinery would help..Nuke energy in someones back yard. National leadership on conservation. No one ever asks americans to do anything large anymore. IN WW2 there was conservation. In iraq, americans asked to do nothing except of course for our abused fighting men and women.
