Hello Freedom45, Looks like the phantom bid disappeared the moment the Annual Meeting started... In my extreme misery with this stock, and looking for some PRACTICAL answers, I handed the situation off for analysis to an investment person much smarter than me. In their honest opinion (ITOO), they found no reason for the stock to be trading so low. The market cap for the whole company at 28 cents is approximately $10.2 million, based on the 36.306 million shares outstanding. They countered that IF the company really believed their deposit was worth more than that, they would immediately issue a share buyback. JUST $300,000 would buy back over 1,000,000 shares, or just under 3% of the total outstanding. WHY DO THIS? It would restore investor confidence, and since they state in press releases they have more than enough money to complete their drill program, a prudent use of funds. ITOO, a junior mining company that does not care about their stock price, yet needs future money to develop a site, is contradicting themselves. If they seriously believe in the project, the stock price is a major component. Though they are VERY CONCERNED about the trading pattern on such a small share issued company. Looking back over the past trading data, ITHO it is being manipulated, and there may even be naked shorts involved (that do not declare their short position). US hedge funds have been mentioned in some areas as having shorted junior miners and going long seniors. The PHANTOM bid that was pulled today confirms even more ITOO that this stock needs to be "cleaned up" in a hurry with a share buyback to restore any remaining investor confidence. ALL IMHO and ITHO.
