Anyone else seen these little guys turning up? smartusa.com A friend brought one by last night. Says its built (or engineered) by Mercedes. The cab is full-size, (front seats only), like a big Buick, which was very surprising. Fair-sized trunk and a little bitty rear-mounted engine. Smart indeed.

Dale, <<How does he do that with dogmatic groups in the party whose attitude is their way or the highway on their pet issues?>> For someone who has placed such faith in Obama as a candidate for change and with the ability to reach people, you seem to have very little faith in your candidate's ability to do so. I would say that he goes and talks to people, like he said he would do with our enemies in the world. With regards to the Jewish community(and I haven't seen any polls saying that Obama has trouble with the Jewish community but it has been surmised by others here), I have heard many of the many mainstream Jewish leaders be non partisan as to whom they would like to see as the democratic nominee. If he came out and talked to these groups that he is having trouble with, at least it paints him as a person willing to cross the divide, he starts to fulfill his promise of trying to heal the country. Otherwise, he comes across as just another politician looking to get elected with the 50.x% percent of the population and as you have said, nothing gets done. Obama is a very intelligent and eloquent speaker. If he is half the person people have said he is, he will at least try and my guess have at least a modicum of success. Neal
