Allen - it is not Iraq that has ruined the Republicans. It is corruption and lack of fiscal discipline. Throw in an open door border policy and the current Republican disaster is well earned. 2006 was close as it was. Without the non Iraq policy failures the House and Senate would still be Republican. Not to worry though - power corrupts. The Dems are now in control in Ohio and are filling the news papers with scandals of their own. Power corrupts!
