That's really interesting, Marcos. Did you see anything there that detracts from what I have said ? I would sure appreciate negative comments to cool my enthusiasm.

But my experience says you are making a mistake by judging a stock by its sexiness, and the negatives of a major's interest. Here's a link to a recent posting of mine, in which I tell the story of my start in mining speculation. The mining analyst I spoke to might well have said, "It's not sexy !".

The stock I referred to was Highmont (HIH) about which I wrote in my last posting here. There is another similarity. I believe Teck had control of Highmont through a shareholding like Goldcorp's . It was Teck's decision to put Highmont into production. Only later did they buy out HIH with Teck paper. So the connection with a major was of real benefit to Highmont.
