Obama doesn't secretly echo those same ideals. International Socialism went down with the Berlin wall. But nobody drove a stake into it. Or used a silver bullet. It's fairly obvious that Capitalism is a better economic system, but any market stress brings out all the old populist/socialist/communist economic ideas. Cultural Marxism never died. In fact, it's triumphant in our educational system. But if you use these words in public discourse, you are branded a "John Birch crank" by the liberal media. When you combine Obama's cultural values from his mother with his educational values, and then add twenty years of indoctrination by his wife, Pastor and friends in Chicago, you get a committed communist on almost all policy matters. Who knows he has to hide his real feelings. But when I write this about him, I come across as a nut. "Communist" means nothing to the general public any more but a sign of name calling. So we have the strong possibility of electing to President the most Left person in the history of the country.
